FSR Annual Peace Fest (26th Annual)
Annual community event promoting peace and love
Community Heroes was created at the invitation of Family Support & Resources Inc., a community based organization. The event is a 26-year-running Memorial Day celebration in Fort Greene Park organized by Lady V / Miss Amoo, who expressed interest creating an art activation for the event.
We partnered with the Ingersoll Community Center, which serves its surrounding New York City Housing Authority developments, to select six community heroes: Stephen Doyle, Samantha Johnson, Eric Manson, Ebay Covington, Anthony Verderosa and a group of Graduating Seniors.
